Acceptance of Terms
By using Laybel, you confirm that:

You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the Services.
Account Registration & Security
2.1 Creating an Account
To access certain features, you may need to create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including:

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and agree not to share your login credentials with others.
2.2 Unauthorized Use
You must notify us immediately at rohan@getlaybel.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account. Laybel is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account.

You agree to use Laybel only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You may not:
Use the Services for fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or disrupt the Services.
Upload harmful code, spam, or violate the security of the Services.
Misuse the receipt-scanning or food inventory management features.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Privacy & Data Collection
Your privacy is important to us. By using Laybel, you acknowledge that we collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, including:
Camera & Photo Library Access – Used for scanning receipts and food inventory.
Account & Device Information – To enhance service functionality.
Usage Data – To analyze trends and improve our features.
We do not sell personal data and take necessary steps to secure your information.
Termination & Account Deletion
You may stop using Laybel at any time. To delete your account, go to Account Settings > Delete Account. Contact us at rohan@getlaybel.com for further support in case issues arise.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the Services, or engage in unlawful activities.
Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability
6.1 "As-Is" Basis
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
The Services will be error-free or uninterrupted.
That data scanned from receipts will always be 100% accurate.
That your food inventory will be perfectly tracked with 0 errors.
6.2 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Laybel shall not be liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Data loss, security breaches, or unauthorized access.
Any errors in receipt scanning, inventory tracking, or recommendations.
Your use of the Services is at your own risk.
Third-Party Links & Integrations
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, payment processors, or integrations. Laybel is not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices. Use third-party services at your own risk.
Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and software associated with Laybel are owned by Laybel Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute Laybel’s intellectual property.
Use Laybel’s branding or trademarks without permission.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, specifically the laws of California.
9.1 Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes:
First, contact us at rohan@getlaybel.com to seek resolution.
If unresolved, disputes will be handled through binding arbitration under the internal laws of the State of Delaware.
You waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits against Laybel.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. If significant changes occur, we will notify users via email or in-app notifications.
By continuing to use Laybel after updates, you accept the revised Terms.
